I recently spent a Saturday afternoon at Chickies Rock lookout, just below Marietta in Lancaster County. It was a breezy, clear day; nothing could be heard but the rush of wind over the Susquehanna. It was lovely; despite the events that recently took place there, moments of serenity transpired.
